Who is going to play tonight on Thursday Night Football When, where, and how to watch NFL Week 8.

Even though the NFL season is almost over, there is still a lot of “Thursday Night Football” left. As has been the norm this season, Amazon Prime’s sixth week of games starts with another one that looks good.

For the second week in a row, an AFC challenger plays an NFC South playoff prospect on “TNF.” This week, the Bills will host the Buccaneers. Both teams are trying to get back on track after defeats.

The Bills (4-3) lost to the Patriots last week, even though they were big road favorites. It was the most embarrassing loss for them. It looked like Buffalo’s issues caught up with them because the defense had a hard time stopping Mac Jones without Matt Milano and Tre’Davious White.

Josh Allen will have to do a little more to lead the Bills against the Buccaneers. One thing that might limit his upside is that he has a small arm trouble of his own. That makes it possible for the Buccaneers to pull off a surprise win.

Tampa Bay (3-3) has lost two straight games and has only scored 19 points during that time. The defense has been good, giving up only 33 points in that time, but the attack hasn’t been good either. With only 77.8 yards per game, the Buccaneers’ run game is the fourth worst in the league. Mayfield and the rest of the offense will need to get things going with the pass.

Can the Bills get back on track and stop the Buccaneers’ good but flawed offense? Or will Chris Godwin and Mike Evans help coach Dave Canales’ attack get going again? This game will come down to how well the Buccaneers pass and how well the Bills defend.

Who is going to play tonight on Thursday Night Football?

  • Matchup: Bills vs. Buccaneers
  • Location: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, N.Y.

Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, is the place.

Week 8 of “Thursday Night Football” features a game between the Buccaneers and the Bills in Buffalo.

After a close loss to the Falcons on a last-second 51-yard field goal by Younghoe Koo, the Buccaneers (3-3) are going into this game. However, the Buccaneers can tie their 4-3 record with a win over the Bills on Thursday. That would put them in first place in the NFC South.

This season, the Buccaneers’ defense has been very good, and they will need to keep that up. With 17.3 points allowed per game, Tampa Bay has the sixth-best scoring defense in the league. They have also had a strong run defense this season. That should help them make Buffalo look like it has only one dimension.

The Buccaneers’ offense will need to get going a bit more than it has in recent weeks, of course. This season, Baker Mayfield has done well, but he has had trouble against top-level pass rushers. The Bills have that, so Mayfield will need to play smart and get the ball out quickly to keep this game close.

As for the Bills (4-3), they just lost to the Patriots, which was a big surprise. The Bills were favorites to win by more than a touchdown on the road, but they didn’t play well all game. They had trouble scoring early on and then had trouble stopping Mac Jones and his teammates late in the game.

The Bills are again a heavy favorite to win, but this time they play at home against the Buccaneers instead of on the road against the Patriots. Does that really matter? It could, but the Buffalo offense won’t be able to reach its full promise as long as Josh Allen is hurt.

And as a defense? The Bills’ defense will be a little weaker than usual because Tre’Davious White and Matt Milano are both on injured reserve. That is, if Jones can be successful, then Mayfield can too.

Still, this looks like it will be a good game with a lot on the line. The winner will be right back in the thick of their division race, given how the AFC East and NFC South are doing.

Even though the Bills should win this game in the end, the Buccaneers will give them a tough time, especially since Buffalo lost to the Patriots and had a hard time beating the Giants back-to-back weeks.

What time does the NFL game start tonight?

  • Time: October 26, Thursday
  • It’s 8:15 p.m. ET (7:15 p.m. CT)

The Buccaneers will play the Bills on “Thursday Night Football” at 8:15 p.m. ET. During the 2023 NFL season, all of Amazon Prime’s “TNF” games will start at that time.

Since both Tampa Bay and Buffalo are in the Eastern time zone, the game will start at 8:15 p.m. in their own time zones. It also makes sure that neither team will have an edge in terms of body clock for this game.

Where can I watch Thursday Night Football tonight?

  • Channel 13 of the TV station WTVT in Tampa Bay
  • The TV station in Buffalo is WKBW (6th Channel).
  • You can watch live video on Amazon Prime Video or DAZN (in Canada).

The NFL’s “Thursday Night Football” package can only be found on Amazon Prime after 2023. Amazon Prime members will be able to watch “TNF” across the country for the next ten years because the streaming service bought the rights to the show as part of an 11-year deal with the NFL.

Still, the NFL worked to make sure that people who live near the teams playing on “Thursday Night Football” can watch the games without having to pay for a membership. So, in the Tampa Bay area, the game will be shown on Fox affiliate WTVT (Channel 13), and in the Buffalo market, it will be shown on ABC affiliate WKBW (Channel 7).

Three people from Amazon will be calling the game on Thursday: Al Michaels (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (color commentary), and Kaylee Hartung (sideline reporter). Some people have said that Michaels, 78, isn’t excited about some of the games, but he should be at his best for a game between two teams that are still in the running for the playoffs.

At the same time, Charissa Thompson will be in charge of a studio crew full of famous people who will show footage before, during, and after the game. Tony Gonzalez, Richard Sherman, Andrew Whitworth, and Ryan Fitzpatrick are all past players who are now working as experts and will be on that part of the show with her.

Amazon will also show Marshawn Lynch’s pregame show piece “N Yo City.” In this section, the former Seahawks star does an activity in or near the host city to show viewers what that part of the world is like.

Lynch’s trip to Pennsylvania’s Amish country, which was shown on TV in Week 2, caught the attention of NFL fans all over the world.

A lot of people liked Lynch’s trip to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City in Week 6. He went with Pat Mahomes Sr.

People in Canada will be able to watch “Thursday Night Football” without Amazon Prime in 2023. They can use DAZN to watch the games.

You can live watch on Amazon Prime

In order to watch “Thursday Night Football” during the 2023 NFL season, you will need to be a member of Amazon Prime. For the next ten years, the show will only be available on the streaming service. Week 8 of the NFL season

The Bills vs. Buccaneers game will be a great way to start Week 8 because both teams are coming off of losses to teams in their own division. As the middle of the season approaches, Buffalo will want to escape dropping to.500. This will be a big game for the Bills as they try to get back on track after their shocking loss to the Patriots.

This is the second week in a row that there is no NFL foreign game on Sunday morning. This means that “Sunday Night Football” will be the only game that day. The Bears and Chargers play each other in Week 8. It might not be as exciting as last week’s fight between the Eagles and Dolphins, but both Matt Eberflus and Brandon Staley are under a lot of pressure. That means that both coaches will be working hard to keep their jobs in a game where defense isn’t very strong.

A couple of teams on “Monday Night Football” are coming off losses, just like on “TNF.” Last week, the Ravens beat the Ravens and the Bears beat the Bears. The teams in the NFC North will be trying to get back on track and strengthen their lead. Meanwhile, Las Vegas will be trying to get back to.500 and possibly get starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo back.

There are a few good games on the Sunday major slate. In the early window, the Bengals and 49ers play in what could be a taste of the Super Bowl, if Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins were able to get healthy during Cincinnati’s bye week. The Jaguars and Steelers play in a game between teams that are still in the running for the playoffs.
