Ronaldo Returns Named in Portugal Squad for EURO Qualifiers Against Slovakia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been added to Portugal’s team that will play Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in EURO qualifying games.

Roberto Martinez has chosen Cristiano Ronaldo to play for Portugal in the Euro 2024 qualifier games coming up.

Martinez has picked his 26-person team that will play Bosnia and Herzegovina three days after it plays Slovakia on Friday, October 13. With such a great start to the Saudi Pro League season, Ronaldo has made the cut.

Over the course of 10 games, the Al-Nassr has scored 11 goals and set up 6 others. In August and September, he was named the Saudi Pro League Player of the Month.

The 38-year-old has also had a great Euro 2024 qualifying season with Portugal so far. The famous forward scored five goals in a row for Selecao.

The men’s team led by Martinez is almost certain to go to the European Championships in Germany next year. If they win against Slovakia and lose against Iceland, they will be able to go to the competition.

Because he had too many yellow cards, Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t play in Portugal’s 9-0 win over Luxembourg the previous time out. He was getting closer, though, to being the first player to make it to his sixth European Championship.

The people Martinez has picked to play against Slovakia and Bosnia are:

Diogo Costa, Jose Sa, and Rui Patricio are the goalkeepers.

Diogo Dalot, Joao Cancelo, Nelson Semedo, Raphael Guerreiro, Antonio Silva, Danilo Pereira, Goncalo Inacio, Ruben Dias, and Toti Gomez are the defenders.

Joao Palhinha, Joao Neves, Ruben Neves, Bruno Fernandes, Otavio, and Vitinha are the midfielders.

Bernardo Silva, Diogo Jota, Joao Felix, Pedro Neto, Rafael Leao, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Goncalo Ramos are the attackers.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic doesn’t agree with Cristiano Ronaldo’s choice to join Al-Nassr

People in the football world were shocked when Cristiano Ronaldo decided in January to join the Saudi Pro League team Al-Nassr. After ending his deal with Manchester United in November 2022, the leader of Portugal was able to sign with any team he wanted.

Metro says Ronaldo has a deal that pays him £173 million a year for two and a half years. The best football players in the world come to Saudi Arabia to play with him because he is paid so much. Karim Benzema is one of them. It has been said many times that their actions are driven by money.

Legendary AC Milan player Zlatan Ibrahimovic said that these kinds of players should try to end their careers on a big stage. He said to Piers Morgan Uncensored (via GOAL), “You should be remembered for your skills, not for what you had.” Because you don’t want to be remembered for the wrong things. What we train for every day and are known for is our ability, and that’s what you want to be remembered for.

Ronaldo has said that the Saudi Pro League is becoming one of the biggest football leagues in the world. Stars of all ages are going to Saudi Arabia, as well as younger players like Gabri Veiga.
