The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, has found football match-ups between himself and Real Madrid great Luka Modric.

The last time Djokovic played was at the 2024 Australian Open, where he made it to the quarterfinals. He is getting ready to play in the BNP Paribas Open, which is also known as the Indian Wells Masters, for the 15th time. Five times, in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2016, he has won the cup.

As soon as the Serb got to California, he started working outside with his team. As he thought about his skills on the grass after a game of football, he compared them to the great Luka Modric, who played for Real Madrid and Croatia.

Novak Djokovic joked in an interview with Tennis TV, “I’m a Luka Modric, you know. I’m that kind of a player. I love to have a 360-degree view of the pitch, make good runs, and give assists.”

The name Luka Modric is well known in football, and he has played for big teams like Dinamo Zagreb, Tottenham Hotspur, and Real Madrid. Modric has helped Real Madrid win five Champions Leagues. In 2018, he also won the Ballon d’Or, which is football’s top individual award.

Djokovic, meanwhile, did a fun agility routine with Aryna Sabalenka, who is ranked second in the world. During a partner-running lesson, the two used a pink ball.

Djokovic will be playing at Indian Wells for the first time in five years. Last year, Sabalneka came in second place at the event.

Novak Djokovic will play Aleksandar Vukic in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open 2019.

It’s the second round of the BNP Paribas Open, and Novak Djokovic is the top seed. He will play Aleksandar Vukic. Djokovic didn’t have to play in the first round, but Vukic beat Shintaro Mochizuki in his first match, 7-6(4), 7-6(6).

The two have never played each other on the ATP tour, so they have never won a match. In the third round, the winner will play either Zhang Zhizhen or Luca Nardi.
