Novak Djokovic has lost the number one spot in the world, as shown by the most recent list.

Novak Djokovic is now ranked second in tennis, which is a big change from his amazing run at the top, but it may become the standard sooner rather than later.

Djokovic may have done even more amazing things than winning 24 Grand Slams. He has been number one in the ATP rankings for more than 100 weeks longer than any other player in the open era.

But Djokovic is 36 years old and plays in fewer and fewer tournaments. This means that he may not be able to stay at the top of the ATP rankings until the end of 2024.

Because the Serbian has done so well in the biggest tennis tournaments, he has been able to stay ahead of his competitors in the rankings over the last few years. The only time this didn’t happen was when he was banned from events because of his Covid vaccine status and Carlos Alcaraz became world No. 1.

But the UTR rankings show a different picture of how tennis is going right now. According to their estimates, Djokovic is no longer the best player in the world.

Jannik Sinner won the Australian Open and, more importantly, beat Djokovic in the semi-finals in Melbourne. This meant that he became the new No. 1 on the UTR list, while Djokovic fell to No. 2.
That position is now official thanks to the updated list. Sinner has a chance to prove that he is still the best player in the world at this week’s Rotterdam Open.

The way the UTR scores are calculated is very different from how the ATP list ranks players, which is based on how many points they earn over 52 weeks.

The UTR list is more accurate than the ATP or WTA rankings because it takes into account wins over higher-ranked players. This means that it shows the current form of the best players more accurately.

The UTR rankings are based on players’ recent progress from the last few weeks and months, not on results from up to a year ago. This is because the system was made to encourage fair and competitive tennis play around the world.

Djokovic supports the UTR rankings, and his comments show that he thinks they are a better way to see how players are doing right now than the ATP list.

Djokovic said, “The UTR Rating is the best way to compare yourself to all other players, no matter what age or level of skill they have.”

Sinner has said that he wants to be ranked No. 1 in the world at some point in his career. His rapid rise up the rankings in recent months has made people think that he is on his way to becoming one of the stars of the next generation after Djokovic.

“Let’s check it out. This week, Sinner said, “I don’t like to talk about rankings.”

“All I want to do is be happy on the court and get better, right?” I can only change that one thing. And then there are things that you can’t change, like “My dream is to be No. 1 in the world, and I will work as hard as I can to get there.”
