With Lionel Messi’s move to Inter Miami, Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for most goals in the history of the UEFA Champions League seems safe for the time being.

Messi still holds the record for most goals scored for a single team, but it looked like he would pass Ronaldo once the older player went to the Saudi Pro League. Messi is a few years younger, and scoring 11 more goals wasn’t that hard.

Robert Lewandowski is the only current player who can come close to Ronaldo’s 140 goals. He is 49 goals behind Ronaldo. Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, who both have great speed, are 100 and 105 goals away.
