The 2025 MLB Fall Classic, also known as the 2025 World Series presented by Capital One is the championship series of Major League Baseball (MLB) 2025 season.

This 121st edition is a best-of-seven playoff series between the National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers, who are the defending World Series championship team, and the American League champion Toronto Blue Jays.

The Dodgers seek a second consecutive championship, while the Blue Jays are after their first title since 1993.

The series started on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Rogers Centre in Toronto as the Blue Jays defeated the Dodgers in Game 1 by a score of 11-4. Games would be carried in prime time, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and potentially concluding on Nov. 1 with a Game 7.

The World Series, which begins, will be broadcast nationally in the United States on Fox and Fox Deportes; it can also be streamed through several services — including Fox’s own app (available to cable or satellite TV subscribers) and Hulu + Live TV — with a subscription. Canadian viewers will be able to watch the games on Sportsnet TV and Radio. National radio coverage is carried on ESPN Radio and Univision Radio in English and Spanish, respectively.

Notes The 2025 World Series marks the Dodgers’ second-straight appearance in the Fall Classic and will also be the Blue Jays first appearance since 32 years. The docket also includes the first-ever playoff matchup between these two clubs.

  • Game 5 (if necessary): A potential Game 5 would be on Oct. 29 in Los Angeles at 8 p.m.
  • Game 6 (if necessary): Oct. 31, Toronto, 8 p.m.
  • Game 7 (if necessary): Nov. 1, Toronto, 8 p.m.

There are future stars on both of the above teams in Shohei Ohtani with the Dodgers, who should be making an appearance as a pitcher in either game 3 or 4.
