Who are the finalists for the Ballon d’Or award in 2023

The French news magazine France Football gives out the Ballon d’Or and Ballon d’Or Féminin every year. The first awards event took place in 1956, and the most recent one was held on Monday.
Karim Benzema, who used to lead Real Madrid, won the Ballon d’Or last season, and Alexia Putellas of Barcelona won the women’s award for the second year in a row.

Lionel Messi of Inter Miami is the favourite to win the men’s prize for an unprecedented eighth time. Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Kylian Mbappe of PSG should also do well in the vote.

Putellas was hurt for most of last season, so there will be a new winner for the women’s prize. Aitana Bonmati, a friend from Barcelona, is the favourite.

When does the Ballon d’Or happen?

On Monday, October 30, 2023, the 67th Ballon d’Or event will take place. It will probably start at 8 p.m. BST at the Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris, France.

How do I watch it?

The event will be shown for free on L’Equipe’s YouTube account, with Didier Drogba, a former Chelsea player, hosting the live show.
