How to Find the 10 Best Right Winger Wonderkids in Football Manager 2024
  • Football Manager 2024 is a great game, but each year you need to find new wonderkids to do well.
  • If you want your football team to do well, you need right wingers. They add skill and flair to the sidelines.
  • These 10 “wonderkids” have everything they need to stay in this place for years, or even decades.

Football Manager 2024 is now out, and fans are once again blown away by how smart and detailed it is. It’s not a surprise, since the strategy game keeps pushing the limits every year. Why wouldn’t you want to win that important European prize for the first time?

This year, it’s become one of the best sports games ever, with updated set-piece strategies, new leagues (hello, Japan!), better graphics, and the constant thrill and sadness of a match to win the championship. But every year it’s known for one big thing: guessing what will happen in sports.

Thanks to VAR, football is known for being one of the most unexpected, crazy, and hard to understand sports in the world. Still, among all that beauty, there are lovely stories to be found. The winner could be Leicester City winning the Premier League in 2016 or a player scoring on his first game for the team he played for as a kid. It’s hard to tell what will happen in football, but Sports Interactive always seems to find the next big stars before they become famous.

Right wings are very important to how teams play. No one needs to be told that because their steady speed, flair, and energy make it hard for defenders to keep up. Seeing a right winger give defenses fits is the most amazing thing in the world. These ten kids are the next generation. It could be Mohamed Salah or Gareth Bale, who regularly humiliates defenders.

A few of these young stars are already playing in the Champions League, which is the top level of football in Europe. There are other choices, too. These people are still being helped by the clubs they joined as kids, but they still have what it takes to get to the top. It’s scary to think that your winger could make the difference between promotion, awards, or your team’s survival on the last day, but with these ten right wingers, you’ll be set for years to come.

These numbers come from “FMScout,” which you can always trust. As you play FM24, keep in mind that things can change for the worse for a number of reasons. From injuries to lack of drive, you may even need some luck to get these wonderkids to the best in the world.

Gianluca Prestianni – Vélez – 17

Most of you have probably never heard of Gianluca Prestianni, who is at the top of the list. That’s not really a surprise, since the Argentine has only played 39 games for Vélez so far. However, soon everyone will know about him because of how fast, stylish, and energetic he is. He has only scored three goals so far, but there was more to him than meets the eye, which is why Barcelona and Benfica were interested in signing him. Make your move quickly if you want to sign him to FM24 so you don’t miss out on the young star!

Angelo – Strasbourg (on loan from Chelsea) – 18

Todd Boehly’s plan for Chelsea has been, well, a mess. It’s crazy how many new players Chelsea has brought in since taking over from Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. Yes, that was the right number 33. One of the players they signed was Ângelo from Santos. Boehly spent a lot of time there looking for South America’s best secret (and sometimes not-so-hidden) talent. The Brazilian moved on loan to Strasbourg this season, but he hasn’t made much of an effect, setting up just one goal. Still, his promise in FM24 his career, making it hard for Chelsea to make a move for him because they have a lot of money.

Yaser Asprilla – Watford – 19

Watford has had many famous stars over the years. “The streets will never forget,” said some, like Ismaïla Sarr and the famous Troy Deeney. They’ve dropped back into the Championship, but they still have a lot of good players, like Yaser Asprilla. The Colombian has only helped score four goals in 15 games this season, but in FM24, he is generally expected to take over. Asprilla has everything you want in a winger and more. He is fast, full of energy, and clever on the wings. You might even be able to get him for a low price since Watford is not likely to get promoted.

Roony BardghjiFC København’s 18

When Roony Bardghji scored the game-winning goal in Copenhagen’s dramatic 4-3 win over Manchester United, fans of teams other than United were thrilled to see a giant being smashed in front of their eyes. Some people may not have known about the young Swedish striker, but people who play Football Manager did. Once more, Sports Interactive said Bardghji would become famous, showing that he has a lot of promise. He has been a star winger on FM24 this year thanks to his style, skill, energy, and threat in front of goal. But big teams, like Chelsea, are looking at him, so you’ll need to act quickly to sign him.

Ben Doak, Liverpool (age 18)

It was Jürgen Klopp who brought in a lot of young players from the school, including Trent Alexander-Arnold. The right back has been very important to the team’s recent success, which was made even better by the fact that he moved up from the school to the first team. Ben Doak will want to make that happen again as a right winger because he knows he has the speed and energy to do so. This season, he’s played in one Premier League game and three cup games, but the Scottish international will soon be making his case to Klopp.

Badredine Bouanani – Nice – 18

Nice is currently in second place in Ligue 1, one point behind Paris Saint-Germain, after a great start to the season. The team on the Mediterranean coast has a young and exciting team, so the sky is the limit for them. Badredine Bouanani could soon be a key player in their growth. People in France can see that the 18-year-old has a lot of promise, even though he has only played five short games and not helped score any goals. According to FMScout, who rated him at 89, he has the skills and talent to rule Europe. It might be hard to get him to leave Nice, though, especially if they make it to the Champions League in your FM24 save.

Shea Lacey – Manchester United – 16

Many people know Manchester United as one of the best teams in the world, but they haven’t won the title in over ten years. It’s not strange that this has put pressure on the board, since the Red Devils seem to have lost their way, including the way for players to move from the academy to the first team. That’s something Shea Lacey will be hoping gets fixed, maybe with Erik ten Hag and the new company. He knows he has the skills to do well. Lacey is having a great time right now because he has helped score five goals in five U18 games. His potential in FM24 says that he will soon be playing for the first team.

Yeremy Pino – Villarreal 20

A little more than ten years ago, Spain had one of the best national teams in the world. They won three straight major events. After going through a rough patch after EURO 2012, the country is now about to start a new golden age that includes Yeremy Pino. He hasn’t scored a goal in La Liga yet this season, but he had ten goal assists last year, which shows that he has the skill and speed of a standard winger. If Pino has a release option, it will be easy to sign him, but it will cost a lot in FM24.

Nico Williams – Athletic Bilbao – 21

This year, Nico Williams is having a great season, adding to the Spanish dominance on the list. This 21-year-old is doing great for Athletic Bilbao. In just ten games, he has scored one goal and set up five others. Since he plays with his brother, it might be hard to get him to leave Bilbao. The club’s rule that they can only play Basque players hits home with him. The Premier League, on the other hand, has a lot of money and power, which is why there are links to big teams in England and across the Channel. Fast is needed to sign him in FM24.

Lamine Yamal – Barcelona, Spain- 16

Lamine Yamal is the kid who keeps breaking records. At 16, not many people are as hardworking and driven as Yamal is, but he is trying to get better. He is the youngest player in Barcelona’s history, the youngest player to play for Spain, and the youngest player to score a goal for the club. Excellent work for a 16-year-old! As Yamal just signed a new deal with Barcelona, it will be very hard to try to get him to leave the Catalan giants. The club loves their La Masia prospects, and that’s not going to change any time soon, not even in FM24.
