Neymar, a forward for Al-Hilal, seems to be making a lot of trouble in Saudi Arabia already.
The Brazilian talent moved to the Saudi Pro League team from Paris Saint-Germain in August, but he has yet to score for his new team.
Neymar is a world-class athlete and one of the best players of all time, but his problems off the pitch hurt how people see him.
This summer, PSG was happy to get rid of the 31-year-old player because the club’s leaders wanted to start a new era in which players had less power.
Even though the season started slowly, the mood at the Parc des Princes seems better.
Reports say that Neymar has chosen to bring all of his drama to Riyadh, which is in the Middle East.
Sport Italia says that Neymar is unhappy in Saudi Arabia and that he and his boss Jorge Jesus got into a big fight after the Asian Champions League game against Navbahor Namangan of Uzbekistan.
The 31-year-old’s bad attitude was criticised by the Portuguese coach, which made the player angry, so he asked Al-Hilal to fire Jesus.
Foot Mercato, an Italian news site, and “several” Saudi Arabian news outlets have written about the fight between Jesus and Neymar.
Jesus’s power as a player could be his end. Already, the club’s management is talking with the Portuguese player’s agent, who has told Jesus that he could be fired.
Reports say that Neymar wants to work with Tite again, who used to be his boss at Brazil.
A story from the Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo says that Jesus and Neymar were very close to getting into a “physical fight” after the game against Navbahor. This is what led the player to “demand” that his boss be fired.
Jesus has been “warned” by the Al-Hilal leadership. In the first seven games of the Pro League, Al-Hilal has not lost. There’s no more game.
