Messi nor Lewandowski Ronaldo revealed who should have won the 2021 Ballon d'Or.
Neither Lewandowski nor Messi: Once, Cristiano Ronaldo said who should have won the Ballon d’Or in 2021.

Even though Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski were also in the running, Lionel Messi won the 2021 Ballon d’Or for the seventh time. This was a controversial choice. Back then, the Portuguese star wasn’t afraid to say what he thought about the issue.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi may have played together for the last time on Thursday, when Paris Saint-Germain beat an All-Star team from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. This collision was supposed to happen in 2020, but it was moved back because of Covid-19 and other things. After Messi got things going, Ronaldo scored twice to tie the game at 2-2.
Since both players were taken off the field around the 60-minute mark, the game may have been the last time they ever played against each other. Even though PSG won 5-4, the game was very exciting from start to finish, and after the final whistle, players from both teams were seen hugging.
Recently, the legendary Portuguese player said that he admires Messi so much that he hopes to meet the 35-year-old when they are both done playing: “So what? I will definitely do it. I’ll get it done. A debate, as Maradona and Pele did. No problem. I’m a nice guy. I know. I’m a good person.”

Who, according to Cristiano Ronaldo, should have won the 2021 Ballon d’Or?

Even though they both respect each other, it is well known that the Portuguese were not happy when Messi won his seventh Ballon d’Or in 2021. Before, Cristiano Ronaldo had backed up claims made by a fan on social media that the Argentina captain stole the prized award from Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski in 2021, in what was called a “shameful” situation for everyone involved.
Even though he was a finalist, the 37-year-old got 435 fewer votes than his Paris Saint-Germain opponent, who beat the strong favourite, Lewandowski, to win the award. A fan account on Instagram called “Cristiano Ronaldo – The Legendary” posted, and the superstar himself replied that he was upset that the Argentine forward had won.
The post talked about Ronaldo’s achievements in 2021 and then said that Messi didn’t deserve the award at all. The current Al-Nassr star commented “Facts” with a thumbs-up emoji to show that he agreed with the post’s arguments and wasn’t afraid to say so in public.
