Golf Channel expert Brandel Chamblee has never been afraid to say what he thinks about the LIV Golf Tour, which is backed by Saudi Arabia. He went back to Twitter on Wednesday, but this time he said some very rude things.

He used and linked to a story from Politico about LIV and its ties to Saudi Arabia.

“As I’ve said many times, LIV Golf isn’t so much a sports organization as it is MBS and Saudi Arabia trying to hide their crimes and clean up their image by buying sports stars. “Giving in to them or making a deal with them is like making a deal with a murderous dictator,” he wrote on Twitter.

Phil Mickelson, who will be in the Hall of Fame one day, and Chamblee have been insulting each other online lately. It got very heated, and Chamblee blocked Mickelson on Twitter because of it.

Since Brooks Koepka won the 105th PGA Championship less than two weeks ago, the debate about LIV Golf has come to a head. Koepka was the first member of the LIV Golf Tour to win a major title since the tour started.

That got people talking about whether Koepka and the other LIV players should be in the Ryder Cup this fall.

Scottie Scheffler, who is ranked first in the world, was the first to say that he backed Koepka’s bid to join Team USA. Jon Rahm, who is tied with Scheffler at the top of the Official World Golf Rankings, said the same thing.

Rory McIlroy, who is a big name in golf but not as big as Tiger Woods, made his position clear earlier on Wednesday. He thinks that it should be based only on talent, and he said that Koepka has earned that right. But he doesn’t think that any of the other LIV players who would be on Team Europe with him shouldn’t be there.
