Arsenal moved four points ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers at the top of the Premier League table with a 21–21 home win over them on Saturday.

Goals early in the game from Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard gave Arsenal the lead. After 86 minutes, Matheus Cunha hit a hard shot past David Raya, the home custodian, setting up a surprisingly tense ending.

When it came to La Liga, experienced striker Cristhian Stuani came off the bench to help Girona beat Valencia 21–0, which put the season’s surprise winner back on top.

The results: Premier League:

Arsenal beat Wolves 2-1 (Cunha 86) thanks to two goals from Saka and one goal from Odegaard. Brentford beat Wolves 1-0 (Brown 76) thanks to three goals from Maupay, Mee, and Baptiste. Burnley beat Sheffield United 5-0 thanks to goals from Rodriguez, Bruun Larsen, Amdouni, Koleosho, and Brownhill.

Girona beat Valencia 1-0 (Stuani 82, 88) in La Liga.

Bundesliga: Bundesliga: Leipzig beat Heidenheim 2-1 (Gimber 45+2) with two goals from Openda and Poulsen; M’Ggladbach beat HoffÍenheim 1-0 (Weghorst 60) with two goals from Plea and Ngoumou; Bochum beat Wolfsburg 1-0 (Svanberg 45+1) with three goals from Osterhage, 39, and AntwiAdjei.

Friday in Serie A, Juventus beat Monza 2 (Rabiot 12; Gatti 90+4). They scored 90 points, but Monza only had 90.
