Angel Reese accuses Barstool Sports of treating player parties differently.

It became a big deal on social media when LSU forward Angel Reese criticized Barstool Sports for letting two athletes do the same dance.

In Monday night’s Sugar Bowl loss to Washington, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers celebrated in a way that reminded me of what Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant did when he had a dunk against the New Orleans Pelicans on December 26 that made the news.

But Reese spoke about how the way each was described was different.

This is what Barstool said about Morant: “Ja spraying imaginary bullets into section 113 after slam.” This happened after Morant came back from a 25-game ban for behavior that hurt the league after he showed a gun on social media.

On the same Barstool Sports account where Ewers posted his party, someone wrote, “Quinn Ewers is having fun.”

A lot of people didn’t like Reese when she used the same taunting “You can’t see me” hand gesture that Iowa guard Caitlin Clark had used earlier in the competition.

In answer to Morant and Ewers’ party, Reese shared the Barstool posts again and joked, “lol, I’ve seen this before…”

People also said Reese did something wrong when she pointed to her ring finger in front of Clark near the end of the national championship game. LSU beat Iowa to win its first title.
Clark later said she didn’t think Reese should be blamed for talking trash.
