One of the most sought-after offensive tackles in the country is Solomon Thomas, a star from Raines (Florida) High School in the Class of 2025.
There are more than 30 scholarship offers for the 6-foot-4, 315-pound blocker, who is rated as either the nation’s No. 1 guard or No. 3 offensive tackle, based on which site you look at.
Thomas cut his list down to 10 semifinalists on Friday: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M:
It’s not a surprise that the news came out.
Thomas is likely to make a choice soon, and Florida State is thought to be the clear favorite to get his pledge.
It’s crazy that On3 thinks the Seminoles have a 95.3 percent chance of getting the Thomas prize.
Even though 10 teams are still in the running, Florida State should be very happy with where it is right now.
