One day before he died at age 48, Clarkson said she would be delaying the rest of her August shows at her Las Vegas residency for personal reasons.
I usually don’t talk about my personal life, but my kids’ dad has been sick for the past year, and I need to be fully present for them right now,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am truly sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows, and I am so grateful for your understanding, grace, and kindness.”
Clarkson, Blackstock’s ex-wife Melissa Ashworth, his four children, and one grandchild will all miss him.
