The Saudi All-Star XI lost 5-4 to Paris Saint-Germain at the King Fahd International Stadium. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice for PSG.
The legendary forward just moved to Al Nassr after his contract with Manchester United was ended by both sides at the start of the year.
Even though CR7 hasn’t played for Al Nassr yet because of a suspension from his time at Manchester United for knocking an Everton fan’s phone out of his hand last season, he was able to put on his boots for Thursday’s friendly match against PSG.
Ronaldo scored two goals in his first game for the Saudi All-Star XIs against Lionel Messi’s PSG in what was called the “Clash of the GOATs.”
Messi scored the first goal of the game just three minutes after the ball was kicked off. Before halftime, Ronaldo scored a penalty goal and a tap-in to cancel out Messi and Marquinhos’ goals.
In the second half, Ronaldo’s former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos scored a goal, Kylian Mbappe scored a penalty goal, and Hugo Ekitike scored a goal off the bench to give PSG an unassailable lead, even though Hyun-Soo Jang and Anderson Talisca scored for the All-Stars.
