Newcastle and Arsenal play in a big game at a great time on Saturday night in the Premier League.

After a disappointing season, Mikel Arteta has inspired his Gunners to go for the title again. A win on Tyneside could put them at the top of the table.

Arsenal’s rested team lost badly to West Ham in the Carabao Cup before their trip up north, but they will hope that doesn’t affect their return to league play.

After beating Manchester United in the same game on Wednesday night, Newcastle will have a different view of things.

The Toon haven’t lost in six league games after a rough start. They will see this game as a stepping stone to another chance to finish in the top four.

Date, time, and place of the game

The game between Newcastle and Arsenal is set to start at 5:30pm GMT on November 4, 2023.

St. James’ Park is where the game will be played.

Team news for Newcastle vs. Arsenal

Newcastle’s long list of injuries got even longer this week when Matt Targett got hurt in the hip and had to leave the game.

Alexander Isak, Jacob Murphy, Sven Botman, Elliot Anderson, Harvey Barnes, and Javier Manquillo are all in the treatment room with the left back. Sandro Tonali is also not playing because he is banned.

Emile Smith Rowe got hurt before Arsenal’s loss to West Ham. People named Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey, and Jurrien Timber are also not there.

After sitting out the cup, William Saliba, Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard should all be brought back into the team. At left back, Arteta has to choose between Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Predictions for Newcastle vs. Arsenal

This is a really tough test for both sides.

Newcastle knows that a win will put them back in the running for the top four and keep them in good shape. Arsenal, on the other hand, will want at least a point to keep their title hopes alive.
