F1 news, the head of Haas criticised Andretti’s plan to join

Guenther Steiner, the head of the Haas Formula 1 team, recently said that he was worried about Andretti joining Formula 1.

Steiner told Sky Sports F1 that adding another team to the sport would not be “beneficial” and would only bring risks. The American racing team Andretti said last month that they would join Formula 1 in 2026. This came after they formed a partnership with General Motors and Cadillac.

Steiner said that Haas, which is the only American team on the F1 grid right now, doesn’t want Andretti to join because adding another team adds “nothing but risk and no gain.” Andretti’s entry into the sport also needs approval from the other teams and both the FIA and Formula 1.

The FIA welcomed Andretti’s entry into the sport.

Andretti has said that only McLaren and Alpine are on their side right now as they try to join the sport. As a “all-American team,” the team’s move to Formula 1 has been met with both excitement and doubt.

Steiner’s comments make people wonder what would happen to the current grid and to the sport as a whole if another team joined. When adding a new team, it’s important to think about how it will affect finances and operations and make sure it won’t hurt the other teams or the sport as a whole.

The head of the Haas team told Sky Sports F1:

“what good does it bring? There is just risk, no benefit. ”

” Five years ago, you could just pick up a team for nothing. They couldn’t sell, so they went out of business ” Everyone wants to join a team all of a sudden.

But there are a lot of people who want to join, and the 10 teams that are already here are all financially stable and set up well.

Right now, everything is going well and no one is having trouble ” If you add an 11th team and the economy goes down a little or something, suddenly people might be struggling to stay alive.

“Why take that risk if there’s nothing to gain from it? I can’t make the choice.”
